Can Pixlyo guarantee an exact target file size?
No. Final size depends on image dimensions, visual detail, output format, and browser encoding. The tool reports whether the target was reached and otherwise returns the closest tested result.
What does Smart fallback do?
Only when you enable it and quality alone misses the target, Pixlyo also tries smaller dimensions while preserving the image ratio. The reported output dimensions show when this fallback was used.
Does target-size compression upload my image?
No. The selected image, quality search, and downloaded output stay in your browser.
Which output formats can I use?
Choose WebP, JPG, AVIF, or JPEG XL according to the compatibility and compression needs of the destination.
